XI AIAr National Congress

Aim of the Congress is the dissemination of the outcomes of multi-analitycal and interdisciplinary studies applied to Cultural Heritage and represents an important opportunity for deepening discussions among people working in this widespread research field.

The III AIAr School will be held in the framework of the XI Congress at the Department of Environmental, Biological and Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technologies of the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli.

HOW TO REACH THE CONGRESS VENUE
The congress will take place in the Congress Centre of the the Federico II University, which is located in Via Partenope, 36, Naples. There are several taxi connections from Naples Capodichino International Airport. In addition, the Alibus bus line costs 5€ to reach the city centre and the port, the latter located only a few minutes’ walk from the congress venue. From the train station, you can reach the venue by bus (line 151) or metro Line 1 from the Toledo or Municipio metro stations.

ACCOMMODATION
The historic center of Naples has one of the best accommodation offers in Italy for all price ranges. Furthermore, special rates have been reserved for the participants of the AIAr 2020 congress in hotels of different categories. (List).

*AIAr members in compliance with the payment of  2020 membership fee and new AIAr members joining the association before February 9th, 2021 can take advantage of the Early Registration Fee if they will send the proof of the bank transfer along with the registration form.

Abstracts submission
The contributions must be submitted to the scientific committee with the template that you can download in the section “For the authors” at the following link and send it to aiar2020napoli@gmail.com specifying the name of the presenter, the preference for the presentation mode (Oral or Poster) and the topic (or themes). Also specify if you intend to publish on special issues of international peer-reviewed journals.

III AIAr School

The III AIAr School will be held on 2nd and 3rd March 2020 (being defined due the health emergency) in the framework of the XI Congress at the Department of Environmental, Biological and Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technologies of the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli. The School will represent an opportunity for education and discussion among PhD students, scholarship holders, and postdoctoral researchers who are involved in the field of sciences applied to Cultural Heritage. The school will host 15 young people, holding a master degree in the various disciplines of cultural heritage (both scientific and humanistic), completed no longer than three years before the deadline for submission of applications, and under 35 years old.
A running doctorate focused on the study of Cultural Heritage would be an asset. Participation is free, the only requirement being the registration to the congress by January 15, 2020.
